The world-famous Prosciutto di Parma

The Parma PDO cured ham is made using only Italian pork thighs from 9-month-old pigs with a a minimum weight of 150kg. Famous worldwide, known for its uniform rosy hue and unmistakable flavour. After slaughtering, the hams are trimmed before they are hand rubbed with salt. After this, the aging process begins, which lasts a minimum of 12 months, in cool, ventilated cellars, strictly within the district of Parma, where Fiorucci has a dedicated plant.
